of the plastic)

#6 PS #7 Other (usually Polycarbonate or PC, which
contains bisphenol-A*)

REMEMBER
Never microwave plastics
Discard plastics that are scratched, dented, old
Limit putting your plastics in the dishwasher
or washing in very hot water
Do not use plastic food wrap
Do not let plastic food wrap come in contact with
your food & NEVER put food wrap in the microwave
*Scientific studies show bisphenol-A can play
havoc with human hormones. The chemical is associated
with adverse health effects: prostate and breast
cancer, immune system dysfunction, early puberty
in females, and higher rates of miscarriage.
